Event Details: Run for the blueberries! Visit the Texas Blueberry Festival in Nacogdoches and run/walk a scenic 5K on the Lanana Creek Trail. Race proceeds will benefit Dog Park Nacogdoches, so all dogs are also invited to register, run and receive a doggie bandana!
Event details and schedule
START TIME: All 5K runners will start at 7:30 am. COURSE: Participants will travel on the Lanana Creek Trail and roads north of the Coy Simms Softball Fields. There will be at least one aid station on the course and 10-year age group awards. The event will be USAT sanctioned and chip-timed.
PARTICIPATION: Dogs are encouraged to participate, but due to the uneven surface of the trail, strollers are not recommended. Because of the narrow nature of the course along the Lanana Creek Trail, the race is limited to the first 300 registrants.
PACKET PICKUP: Packet pickup will be the day before the race from 4-6pm at the CL Simon Recreation Center at 1112 North Street. It will also be available race morning from 6:30-7:15 am.
RACE DAY REGISTRATION: Race day registration will be available the morning of the race between 6:30 and 7:15 am IF the race has not sold out. Please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any questions. Thanks for your interest in our event!
