Tim Swanson’s Mid-Day Show & Morning Thought | KSWP 10:00am – 3:00pm | KAVX 10:00am – 2:30pm
I am married to Linda, the love of my life, since 1979. I was introduced to her by the Love of my life, Jesus. Linda and I have 2 grown children and 5 grands.
I write a daily devo on a blog called Morning Thought with Pastor Tim. You can subscribe to it for free. I love Bible study. I love sitting on the porch on a spring morning or a cool summer evening. I love nature walks, bird watching, going to the beach, and driving country roads. That may be the reasons that I enjoy Pastoring CrossRoads Christian Center Church near Broaddus, geocaching and photography!
I have been on staff at KSWP/KAVX since January 1995, though I volunteered for 9 years previous to that.
I am the chief engineer, but I call myself a pseudo-engineer. I keep things going the best I can, which means I know how to change a lightbulb (lol). I’m also production director, on-the-air, computer geek, networking, satellite equipment, and assistant program director for KAVX.
Night Light w/Bonnie Curry | KSWP 7:00pm – 12:00pm
Night Light is about relating to the listener as Bonnie shares real life stories offering hope, encouragement, laughter and tears on the radio.
For more than 25 years, Bonnie Curry has been sharing her life, adventures and humor on the radio. She says, “I’ve always been a pretty open book and over the years, I’ve had some very funny stories to share. I’m happily married, I’ve raised two kids while working at a job I love. There’s been ups and downs and talking honestly about those moments keeps it real. I feel so blessed to get to talk to people and hear their stories. I like making that connection and playing music that encourages people. It’s real life and we’re living and sharing it together.”
In her spare time, she loves to garden, travel and review movies. Her husband is a wonderful cook and she fully supports his talent by cleaning up the kitchen.
Hosting the overnight shift on KSWP and KAVX, Henry is the friendly voice after midnight, taking your prayer requests, encouraging you with words from the Bible, and playing great Christian music and programs. He is married. Henry enjoys teaching school, reading, and just hanging out with family and friends!
